I love my straight hair.
Tonight at a friend's house, Layla was eating - of all things - chicken wings! With no hot sauce or anything, just plain. She was absolutely in heaven, but from a vegetarian's perspective... YUCK! She was ripping the flesh off the bone with the few teeth that she has. She was sucking on grizzle and gnawing at bones. Strings of flesh were snapping as she broke them off. The whole time she was sitting on my lap and her hands were covered with chicken grease and little pieces of chicken flesh, and then she reaches for her Mama and gets it all over me! (The things we do for our children!) She ate four wings, and with a passion. To say she liked them was putting it mildly. We will definitely have to get more of those!
Did I mention I am loving my straight hair???
I left Layla for 80 minutes with a babysitter last week! I'm trying to make sure she bonds with me, but I don't want her to get so attached that she can't be without me. After all, in a few weeks when I go back to work, she will have to go to day care every day. :( She did very well while I was gone, but was happy to see me when I got back! Perfect!
She now knows how to kiss, blow kisses, give high five, blow bubbles, wave and say hi and bye, and she is saying doggie and kitty, as well as what I think is "mama" but could be "umma" which I think means, "Bitch, give me more of that food!"
Finally, not to be materialistic or superficial, but I love my straight hair!
